I did it. I deleted all the news apps. It was a wrench and I had some terrible FOMO that makes me anxious I might relapse, but today, and hopefully tomorrow, I will not know any of the details. Phew.

Oh, I really needed this, thank you!!!!! I’ve been working on how to limit consumption and with whom to consume. Not easy but I’m getting there. The human rights abuses are just killing me. And Medicaid, Social Security, Education, USAID, and on and on…

YES! And of course the days I structure my day so that I am only "checking in" a little bit; I am MUCH better off! The trick is to hold off as LONG AS POSSIBLE in the morning "checking emails" which are my Substack etc. headlines; and NOT checking within at least an hour before bed time. You have helped me to decide to be more decisive and intentional about it. Thanks again! YES we have GOT this!
